One of my favourites. I designed these snowflakes made out of maple leaves. Winter... Canada style!
A beautiful sunset on the pond at RaggedyAss Acres. Nature always inspires the best creativity for me.
YOU'VE JUST LAUNCHED YOUR SMALL BUSINESS, NOW THE ADVENTURE BEGINS.
GET STARTED TODAY.
I am delighted to announce the launch of my new offering - GET STARTED BUSINESS KITS.
As an entrepreneur myself, I know how hard it can be to take the first step in launching your own business.
My aim with this new offering is to remove some of the barriers entrepreneurs face when getting started.
By keeping things simple, and offering a high standard of technical creative excellence - I can provide an effortless, customizable toolkit that covers all of the basics. You can put your best foot forward with a personalized website, social media, stationery, business cards, signage, logo and promotional materials.
I designed this logo/monogram to resemble a cattle brand for my client.
I am excited to have received my new business cards this week. I used Moo.com for the printing of the cards and I highly recommend them. The stock is lovely and so are the rounded corners. Each card is like a limited edition print!
I rediscovered this illustration that I drew in 1987. Adult colouring books are very popular now and this image would be a great one to colour. E-mail me if you would like a copy to colour.
Days for Girls is a wonderful charity I am doing design work for right now. I've designed a number of collateral pieces for the Calgary chapter of this charity to help them in volunteer recruiting and fundraising. The mission of Days for Girls is to ensure girls can go to school every day and manage their menstrual period in often difficult cultural and living situations, such as refugee camps. Very pleased that my pysanka was used for this feature in Uppercase Magazine. My Baba (Grandmother) taught me the art of pysanka which are traditional Ukrainian easter eggs. They are created by "writing" lines and shapes with beeswax on a fresh eggshell and dipping the egg in multiple layers of coloured dyes, starting with light colours and ending with black. Uppercase Magazine is a global design magazine, created in Calgary, Alberta, Canada .... just a 30 minute drive from where I live. The photographs of my eggs are available on iStock, which was also a Calgary company, prior to being bought by stock image giant, Getty.
